いつかの英文の記事で、見つけて有用かと思ってメモしたものを貼っております。

参照元は忘れてしまいました(恐らく元記事が消えてる)が、BIMプロジェクトの作業量を見積もる目安となる指標です。

Type1が工場や駐車場などシンプルなプロジェクトで、Type3になると病院やデータセンターなど特殊な配線・配管が多く、干渉が多く納まりが難しいため、延床面積辺りの設計コストが高くなります。

• Hotel (Apartment hotel)
• Residential tower
• Student or Institution Residence
• Senior Apartment
• School -Kindergarten-elementary school
• Typical Manufacturing Processing facility
• Office tower
• Resort building
• Laboratory
• Automated parking
• Metro Station
• Stadium, Arena
• Museum (Local grade)
• Convention hall

 

DESIGN BIM Project Type 3
• Hospital
• Medical Facility
• Data center
• Special Manufacturing Building with special machine & equipment
• Renovation Project (requiring Existing condition modeling)
• Airport terminal
• Museum (National grade)

 

*Type1 is a simpler type of project
*Type3 is the most complicated type of project means that would require more resources.
